5 Ways Computer are used in Medical Science

As computer have become mainstream appliances, they have found their way into virtually all aspects of human endeavors and medicine is no exception. Computer help physicians and medical researchers discover, test and apply medical techniques in virtually every hospital in the world. Furthermore, computer technology provides an infrastructure to allow for medical id other people are reading.
1)      X-rays and CT scans
X-rays and CT scans use radiation to produce image of a patient’s internal structure to search for abnormalities. X-ray allow for Viewing of the internal structure of the patient from one perspective. CT scanning on the other hand uses computer technology to take several X-ray images that are two-dimensional cross-sections and turn them into a multidimensional picture that doctors use to make a diagnosis . theses single X-ray are combined using computer programs that precisely reconstruct the internal structure of the patient.

2)      Magnetic Resonance Image
Magnetic Resonance Imaging, more commonly know as MRI,

Chemical preservation of urine:

1.     Toluol – for 100ml of urine 2ml toluol
2.     Thymol – small floating lamp of thymol. Several day preserved but protein
                  can be false

Liver function test (L.F.Ts)

                               Liver function test (L.F.Ts)
The test by which functional condition of the liver can be known is called liver function test. Such as:
1.    Blood: a. serum bilirubin
             b. SGOT(ALT)
             c. SGPT(ALT)
             d. serum alkaline phosphatas
            e. prothrombin time
2. Urine: a. bile salt
