Medical Assistant Training School (MATS)
Medical Assistant are the Medical Professional Who are work as assistant of the Medical Officer in emergency Department according to roster Duty under a Resident Medical Officer.They maintain registration of all sorts of patient including referred cases to UH & FWC or UHC. They treat common disease, identify and treat vaccine related complication, First Aid Services, advice on Sexually transmitted diseases(STD). They act as a patient counselor for indoor and outdoor patients in aspect of cause of disease, treatment of disease, rules of taking medicice and food and other related disease or complication. In some cases Refers the complicated cases including severe diarrhoea, ARI, malaria, Fever, Flu, Dengue or if they found any sign and symptom of recently invented Pendamic Disease like - Ebula, Swinflu, Nipa virus, Zika virus etc.
From 1976 the State Medical Faculty(SMF) is conducting Medical Assistant Trainging course.
Admission Requirement:
The student want to admit in Diploma in Medical Technology(Laboratory) required Minimum GPA-2.5 in SSC with science group including Biology.
I just completed my ssc.I have gotten GPA,3.56. can I study diploma on physiotherapy in dhaka college of medical technology?
